Job summary

City National Bank is seeking a Senior Data Analyst to lead end-to-end data product delivery within the Insights, Data Engineering & Analytics organization. You will drive governance, define requirements, and collaborate across IT and business units to ensure compliant, scalable data solutions.

The role emphasizes mentoring, cross-functional leadership, and guiding complex analytics programs, including financial forecasting and risk modeling, with Snowflake and modern data platforms preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent.
• 6+ years of relevant experience in data analysis or analytics in the banking industry.
• Experience with data product development, advanced analytics, or AI/ML in enterprise settings, with a strong understanding of data systems.
• Skilled at translating technical data concepts into business outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Lead full lifecycle analysis, including requirements definition, activity mapping, and solution design.
• Design, development, and deployment of data products from ideation to launch; manage governance, intake, and prioritization processes.
• Partner with IT and business units to integrate data products into existing systems, ensuring regulatory alignment.
• Collaborate with Finance, Risk, and other teams to gather, prioritize, and document data product requirements.
• Lead data analysis via discovery, exploration, and impact assessments; illustrate data flows of systems and processes.
• Perform data profiling and preparation by identifying gaps and qualifying data.
