Job summary

Western Alliance Bank is seeking a Senior Business Data Governance Analyst to drive enterprise data solutions and align business and technology data needs. You’ll collaborate across teams to map data flows, implement data quality rules, and create dashboards, enabling informed decisions.

You will work with tools like SQL Server, Excel, Tableau, Power BI and participate in data governance initiatives across enterprise data platforms.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in Data Analytics & Data Management or a similar field.
• Bachelor's Degree in a related field is required.
• Experience with data analysis tools (SQL Server, Excel) and visualization (Tableau, Power BI).
• Experience with RDBMS and query languages (T-SQL, PL/SQL, Spark SQL).
• Experience with data profiling/wrangling tools (Informatica preferred, Collibra, Alteryx).
• 5+ years in data analysis, enterprise data warehouse, and source-to-target mapping; strong communication.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to map requirements, source systems, and data flows.
• Facilitate collaboration between stakeholders and IT for data solution implementation.
• Define and develop data quality rules; design dashboards; integrate with business glossary; automate end-to-end processes.
• Create data visualizations using Power BI to explain recommendations.
