Job summary

Northern California Golf Association in Pebble Beach is seeking a Senior Manager of Business Analytics & Modeling to turn membership, participation, and financial data into actionable insights. You will design forecasting models and dashboards to inform GPS decisions and work with cross-functional teams to drive growth and satisfaction.

The role requires a strong analytics background, proficiency in SQL and BI tools, and experience building financial and operational models.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in analytics, statistics, economics, business, or related quantitative field.
• Experience in business analytics or data science; membership or subscription-based organization experience a strong plus.
• Proficiency in SQL and BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
• Strong financial modeling skills; comfortable building and stress-testing models.
• Demonstrated ability to translate complex data into clear narratives and recommendations.
• Experience with CRM or membership management platforms (HubSpot experience a significant plus).
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with a high attention to detail.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to present information clearly to various stakeholders with various levels of expertise.
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a dynamic environment.
• High degree of integrity and discretion when handling confidential financial information.

Responsibilities

• Partner with marketing, membership, operations and finance teams to identify data needs and translate them into analytical solutions
• Design and maintain executive-level dashboards and reporting tools that surface KPIs and trends in real time
• Work with marketing to evaluate the effectiveness of member acquisition and engagement programs, including A/B testing and attribution analysis
• Conduct segmentation and cohort analyses to identify growth and efficiency opportunities within and across member segments and operations
• Partner with customer service to conduct NPS surveys and leverage the data/insights to improve satisfaction scores
• Present findings and recommendations clearly to senior leadership and non-technical stakeholders
