Job summary

Blue Cross NC is seeking a lead for analytics and business intelligence to manage a dedicated team delivering State Health Plan reporting and analytics. The role emphasizes translating client needs into actionable analytics, maintaining delivery discipline, and partnering across teams to ensure high-quality outputs.

The ideal candidate will have 8+ years of experience in analytics, strong communication, and a proven ability to guide data-driven decision making within health plan contexts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or advanced degree required; 8+ years of related experience, or 10+ years without a degree.
• Experience delivering analytics and reporting for health plan or large organizations is preferred.
• Strong communication and client-facing consultative analytics skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage analytics and client reporting team supporting the State Health Plan.
• Own and manage reporting backlog, set priorities, and ensure timely delivery.
• Consult with State Health Plan to translate needs into analytic requirements.
• Build trusted client partnerships with clear delivery visibility.
• Establish intake, prioritization, planning, and delivery disciplines.
• Ensure quality and reliability of reporting products with scalable techniques.
• Collaborate across analytics, technology, operations, and business teams.
• Develop a high-performing, customer-focused analytics team.
