Job summary

Blue Cross NC is seeking a Manager of Analytics to lead the analytics and client reporting team supporting the State of NC's Employee Health Plan. This role focuses on aligning work with client priorities, delivering high-value reporting, and driving data-driven decision support for NC teachers, public servants, and communities.

You will own the backlog, prioritize work, and ensure timely delivery while promoting scalable analytics practices across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or advanced degree required; 8+ years of experience in related field.
• In lieu of degree, 10+ years of experience in related field.

Responsibilities

• Manage the analysis and business intelligence function for the organization.
• Own and manage the State Health Plan reporting and analytics backlog with priorities and capacity planning.
• Consult with State Health Plan representatives to translate business questions into analytic requirements.
• Build trusted client partnerships with proactive, transparent communication on priorities, status, risks and timelines.
• Ensure quality, accuracy, integrity, and reliability of reporting and analytics; promote automation for scalability.
• Coordinate with analytics, technology, operations, and business teams to support State Health Plan priorities.
• Develop a high-performing, customer-focused analytics team with strong storytelling and execution accountability.
