Job summary

Republic Services is seeking a Sr. Manager, Advanced Analytics to lead modeling efforts and deliver actionable insights for strategic business challenges. The role covers data preparation, model development, experiments, and presentation of results to stakeholders.

You will guide a team of analysts, apply machine learning, optimization and simulation techniques, and ensure high‑quality deliverables through rigorous validation, documentation, and collaboration with IT and operations.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in analytics or a related field is required.
• 5+ years in statistics, multivariate analytics and related modeling techniques.
• 5+ years building and manipulating large datasets in database environments.
• 5+ years collaborating with IT/ops to automate analytics workflows.
• 5+ years providing analytical insights to business stakeholders.
• Excel advanced and strong MS Office proficiency (Word, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Leads the advanced analytics function and builds a best‑in‑class team.
• Designs experiments, prepares data, and develops predictive/prescriptive models.
• Translates analytics into actionable business insights for stakeholders.
• Partners with business customers to identify opportunities and ensure value.
• Ensures documentation, peer review, and quality control across projects.
