Job summary

Airbnb is seeking a Senior Analytics Leader to own end-to-end analyses driving guest and host experience improvements. You will run experiments, apply causal inference, and leverage AI-assisted analytics to extract scalable insights from unstructured data.

You will partner with product, engineering, and data teams to deliver leadership-ready recommendations, build robust metrics, and communicate tradeoffs clearly in a fast-paced environment. Remote-eligible in the US.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in advanced analytics, data science, or applied quantitative analysis.
• Strong hands-on SQL and one programming language (Python or R).
• Proven experience designing and analyzing A/B experiments.
• Experience with causal inference techniques (diff-in-diff, synthetic controls, propensity scoring).
• Hands-on experience with AI-assisted analytics workflows and structured extraction from unstructured data.
• Experience building metrics end-to-end and deploying in data pipelines.
• Excellent communication skills for senior leadership.
• Ability to operate independently and manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end analytics projects impacting guest and host experience.
• Design, execute, and analyze experiments to measure quality initiatives.
• Develop causal inference approaches to quantify product and policy changes.
• Leverage AI tools to extract insights from unstructured data at scale.
• Create metrics and dashboards to monitor customer experience health.
• Present findings to senior leadership and influence product decisions.
