Job summary

Airbnb is seeking a senior analytics leader to own advanced analytics for promotional and marketplace initiatives. You’ll work with cross‑functional teams to analyze complex datasets, design experiments, and deliver actionable insights that shape product and business decisions.

You will build and maintain metrics, leverage AI tools, and communicate findings to senior leadership. This remote‑eligible role requires a strong quantitative background and excellent stakeholder management.

Qualifications

• Advanced analytics/data science experience in promotions, customer acquisition, or marketplace settings preferred.
• Strong programming and SQL skills with experience in causal inference and A/B testing.
• Excellent stakeholder management and ability to influence across teams.

Responsibilities

• Be the Advanced Analytics owner and expert on domain datasets, solving complex problems with statistical methods.
• Apply quantitative analysis, experimentation, data mining, forecasting, and reporting to identify trends and inform decisions.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Finance, Marketing, Operations, Data Science, and other teams to provide actionable insights.
• Design, execute, and analyze experiments to measure feature impact and guide product iterations; leverage causal methods when randomized trials aren’t available.
• Design and build metrics/dimensions to monitor product and business performance.
• Build sophisticated reporting and analytical tools that empower stakeholders to make data-driven decisions.
• Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders, including senior leadership, clearly and concisely.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends in quantitative and qualitative data analysis techniques.
• Leverage AI to automate repetitive tasks and empower stakeholders.
