Job summary

Niche is seeking a Senior Analytics Engineer to join the Data Engineering team. You will architect, build, and scale enterprise data models, translating complex raw data into clean, business-ready datasets while driving data accuracy, observability, semantic consistency, and warehouse performance.

You will lead the design and maintenance of modular dbt models, semantic layers, and BI views for analysts, data scientists, and executive stakeholders.

• Architect and document Kimball dimensional models and enterprise warehouse transformation logic.
• Design, build, and govern production-grade data models powering the enterprise semantic layer for analysts, data scientists, and executives.
• Establish and enforce data quality, automated testing, lineage tracking, cost optimization, and alerting across dbt pipelines.
• Refactor legacy data logic and standardize analyst workflows into modular, scalable semantic pipelines.
• Drive data governance, metric standardization, and secure access controls while mentoring junior engineers.
