Job summary

Polymarket is seeking a Senior Analytics Engineer to own the modeling layer between raw data and business decisions. You will collaborate with data engineers and data scientists to turn trading and application data into clean models and metrics.

You will define core metrics, build the models that produce them, and ensure colleagues can self-serve insights without querying a data person. Adapt to a fast-moving environment with evolving business logic.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in analytics engineering, data analytics, or a similar role.
• Expert SQL: reading, writing and optimizing complex queries.
• Hands-on with dbt and orchestration tools like Airflow; cloud warehouses such as Databricks, Snowflake, BigQuery, or ClickHouse.

Responsibilities

• Design and build dbt models turning raw data into trusted datasets.
• Own core metrics definitions to ensure consistency across dashboards and conversations.
• Partner with data engineers on warehouse layer, views, and performance.
• Develop self-serve reporting in dashboards used by Growth, Finance, and Markets.
• Translate open-ended questions into durable, reusable models.
• Write tests and monitoring to surface data quality issues early.
• Model new products and market types as business logic evolves.
• Write end-to-end documentation for engineers and analysts.
