Job summary

Pantheon is seeking a Senior Analytics Engineer to own end-to-end analytics modeling for key business domains. You will build dbt models on Snowflake and shape the semantic layer used by the entire company to derive insights.

You'll partner across Finance, Sales, Marketing, CS, and RevOps to translate complex questions into actionable data models and ensure consistent metrics. Expect a modern analytics workflow with code reviews and CI/CD practices.

Qualifications

• 6–8 years of analytics/data engineering experience, with 4+ years in analytics engineering.
• Advanced SQL and hands-on dbt or comparable framework.
• Cloud data warehouse experience, ideally Snowflake.
• BI/semantic-layer modeling experience, Looker (LookML) or Omni.
• Strong dimensional/data-modeling fundamentals (Kimball, star schema).
• Proven ability to translate business questions into data models and communicate with stakeholders.
• Familiar with modern analytics development workflows (branch-based PRs, code review).

Responsibilities

• Own the analytics modeling lifecycle for a business domain (GTM/Lead-to-Customer or Post-Sales).
• Build and maintain dbt models and business marts atop source data in Snowflake.
• Develop and maintain the semantic layer powering our BI platform.
• Partner with Finance, Sales, Marketing, CS, and RevOps to translate questions into models.
• Define and enforce consistent metric definitions and segmentation across the org.
• Build self-serve data products enabling business users to answer routine questions.
• Collaborate with Data Platform team to specify new sources and validate data.
