Job summary

Digible, Inc. is seeking a Senior Analytics Engineer to own the Silver and Gold layers of our medallion architecture, build a governed semantic layer, and shape BI tooling standards.

You will translate stakeholder questions into trustworthy models, ensuring metric integrity and scalable analytics across ~1,000 clients. You will collaborate with Data Engineering and analytics teams, writing production-grade SQL and dbt, optimizing warehouse performance, and leveraging AI to accelerate delivery.

Qualifications

• 5-7+ years of data/analytics engineering experience, including at least 2 years in a senior capacity.
• Expert SQL and data modeling skills using dbt, dataform, SQLMesh for modeling and testing.
• Hands-on experience with Snowflake or BigQuery cloud data warehouses.
• Experience with semantic/metrics layers and metric governance.
• Proficiency with BI tools (Hex, Sigma, Tableau, Looker) and Python for automation.
• Git version control and collaboration in fast-paced teams.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools and data warehouse optimization.
• Strong communication and cross-functional partnership with engineering, product, analytics.

Responsibilities

• Drive data warehouse strategy, modeling standards, and performance tuning.
• Own Silver/Gold layer modeling in dbt and reduce metric drift.
• Build and govern the semantic layer for a single source of truth.
• Lead BI tooling strategy and enable trusted self-serve analytics.
• Partner with stakeholders to translate questions into durable models.
• Troubleshoot data quality issues and optimize transformation layers.
• Contribute to platform evolution and scale analytics infrastructure.
