Polymarket is seeking a Senior Data Scientist / Analyst to own the analytics behind our institutional relationships—market makers, takers, and brokerages driving platform volume.

You will model counterparty health, quantify flow, and translate data into actionable insights for negotiations and strategy in a fast-moving crypto-forward environment.

The role blends rigorous data work with commercial judgment and cross-team collaboration.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in analytics, trading, or counterparty analysis.
• Expert SQL for order-book and transaction-level data.
• Understanding of how liquidity providers make money and how metrics drive decisions.

Responsibilities

• Own analytics on institutional relationships (makers, takers, brokerages).
• Build counterparty views: volume, flow, spreads, fees, rebates.
• Monitor health and surface churn or concentration risks early.
• Analyze trading behavior to see how participants profit on the platform.
• Support institutional reviews and negotiations with data-backed insights.
• Quantify how institutional flow affects liquidity and retail experience.
• Turn reports into modeled datasets with analytics engineers.
