Polymarket is seeking a Senior Data Scientist / Analyst to be the analytical partner to our product team. You’ll own product insights end‑to‑end, from defining success metrics to designing experiments and interpreting results.

This role demands real product instincts, not just query skills, and you’ll push back when numbers don’t support the story. You’ll work in a fast‑moving environment where we ship continuously and answers are needed before the next release.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in product analytics or data science for consumer or trading products.
• Expert SQL and ability to go from raw event data to defensible insights.
• Experience designing and interpreting A/B tests in production.

Responsibilities

• Partner with product managers, designers, and engineers as the analytical owner for product.
• Define the metrics that determine whether a feature worked and when results indicate success or failure.
• Design, instrument, and read end-to-end A/B tests, including sample size decisions and guardrail metrics.
• Build funnel and behavioral analyses that explain how users find a market, place a first trade, and return.
• Turn user behavior into actionable product direction and identify what to build next.
• Own the event tracking spec and ensure correct instrumentation during implementation.
• Work with analytics engineers to promote recurring analyses into modeled datasets.
• Write end-to-end documentation so the team can reuse your analyses.
