Job summary
Plante Moran is hiring a data engineer in CO with 2+ years of experience to gather requirements, architect data environments, and build data warehouses. You will develop ETL pipelines, implement API integrations, and deliver BI reports while mentoring staff.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in CS/IS or related field.
- 2+ years of data engineering and analytics deployment experience.
- Strong problem solving for complex technical challenges.
- Ability to manage multiple data development projects.
- Hands-on SSIS, Azure Data Factory, Fabric or similar ETL tools.
- Cloud data platforms: Fabric/Synapse/AWS Redshift/Snowflake/Databricks.
- CI/CD experience with DevOps tools is a plus.
- Strong SQL skills including stored procedures and window functions.
- Experience Python ETL scripts and APIs is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Gather requirements from client stakeholders.
- Architect client data and analytics environments.
- Design, develop, and deploy data warehouses.
- Perform advanced SQL scripting and data engineering.
- Model data conceptually/logically.
- Develop advanced ETL processes and pipelines.
- Perform API integration, deployment, and support.
- Develop and deploy BI reports and solutions.
- Mentor and coach junior staff.
- Participate in firm and client innovation projects.
- Support practice development activities.
