Job summary

Amcor is seeking a Senior Analytics Analyst to join our Analytics and Insights Group in Kentucky. You will enable business partners to leverage data for strategic decisions, focusing on reporting and dashboard development in Power BI and Tableau.

You’ll partner with Operations and Business teams to identify opportunities, manage BI solutions, and drive automation with IT. A strong background in SQL, DAX, and data analysis is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Analytics, Accounting, Finance, Business Management, or Computer and Information Science
• Minimum five years of experience in developing dashboards/visualizations in data visualization software such as Power BI and Tableau
• Strong customer service focus
• Strong work ethic with ability to leverage others and work in a cross functional environment
• Self-initiative and commitment to excellence
• Prior experience with programs such as SQL, DAX, etc.
• Good understanding of relational database concepts is a plus
• Proven strength and aptitude in working with data and numbers
• Ability to collect and compile relevant data
• Excellent ability to analyze information and think systematically
• Strong business analysis skills
• Works well independently and as part of a team
• Extremely organized with great attention to detail
• Excellent written, verbal and organizational skills
• Excellent interpersonal & Communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software
• Travel up to 10%

Responsibilities

• Serve as a valued business partner to the Operations and Business teams to identify opportunities for improvement; prioritize business and information needs
• Developing and managing business intelligence solutions for the organization; includes understanding information needs and data sources such as SAP, Workday, CMS, BPC and dashboards in Tableau, Power BI, Excel, SQL
• Drive interpretation, understanding, and adoption of analytic insights
• Build positive relationships; tailor communications for audiences; provide actionable information that drives decision-making
• Establish priorities and deadlines, assess resources, define next steps
• Partner with IT to improve reporting/dashboard functionality and drive automation
• Identify development needs for streamlining operations for efficiency and profitability
• Troubleshoot reported issues by the business partners
• Identify and improve data quality and completeness
• Provide month-end reporting, process improvement, and ad hoc support
