Job summary

Whirlpool Corporation in Fall River, MA is seeking a Senior Analyst of Engineering to lead the implementation of World Class Manufacturing (WCM) initiatives and drive continuous improvement across the plant. You will apply WPS principles, develop KPI-driven strategies, and partner with operations to improve safety, quality and efficiency while supporting new product introductions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering required; Master’s preferred.
• Minimum 3+ years implementing process improvements incl. kaizens.
• 5+ years manufacturing experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Orient and train staff with World Class Manufacturing tools.
• Lead and direct the successful implementation of the company's World Class Manufacturing strategy.
• Implement the WPS methodology for identifying strengths and weaknesses to help identify areas for improvement.
• Facilitate kaizen events when requested by management.
• Validate the problem-solving methodology for each kaizen.
• Conduct follow-up audits of the implemented tools.
• Identify, analyze, and solve manufacturing process issues to improve KPI results for Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, and People.
• Develop and implement a New Product utilizing WPI Tools with specific KPIs at each station.
• Prioritize, scope, and define projects (Own and others’ projects).
• Improve manufacturing efficiency by planning workflow and improving layout and stations.
• Manage the continuous improvement building area where racks and fixtures are designed and built.
• Demonstrate leadership through the development of team Leaders to drive daily work and long term goals.
