As we expand our international footprint, we are strengthening our regulatory affairs capabilities and are looking for a brilliant Senior Analyst Resource Planning & Market Policy.
The Senior Analyst, Resource Planning & Market Policy will provide technical expertise on resource adequacy, utility integrated resource planning (IRP), capacity accreditation, and energy storage valuation to support the company's regulatory, policy, and commercial objectives. This role will serve as the internal subject matter expert on how long-duration energy storage (LDES) and other emerging resources are represented in resource planning and capacity frameworks across North American power markets.
The successful candidate will monitor and assess evolving planning and accreditation methodologies used by utilities, ISOs/RTOs, regulators, and industry stakeholders, translating technical analysis into actionable policy positions and business recommendations. While the company does not perform extensive in-house system planning modeling, this role will critically evaluate modeling assumptions, planning studies, and market design proposals to ensure emerging storage technologies are appropriately valued and represented.
