Job summary

Kraft Heinz in Chicago is seeking a Senior Analyst in Integration & Separation Accounting to oversee Manufacturing & Operations accounting during divestitures, acquisitions, or other strategic transactions, ensuring timely, accurate information for management.

The role partners across functions, handles TSA design, journal entries, and month-end close, and requires a CPA or MBA preferred, with at least 2 years in public accounting or transaction advisory, in a CPG setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance required; CPA or MBA preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of public accounting, transaction advisory, or CPG industry accounting experience.
• Cost accounting exposure and knowledge of US GAAP methods.
• Ability to produce high quality work in ambiguous environments and improve processes.
• Business partnership mindset and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Own the integration and separation lifecycle coverage (diligence, TSA, and related agreements).
• Prepare diligence requests for potential M&A to inform adjustments.
• Design processes to enable smooth divestiture or acquisition transitions.
• Construct, deliver, and present buyer-facing reporting for carved financial statements and carve accuracy.
• Drive the execution of M&A accounting with reconciliations, journal entries, and month-end close.
• Execute month-end close for TSA activity including material ledger costing, overhead absorption, capitalization policies, and BOM data.
• Coordinate with third parties and cross-functional teams for deliverables.
• Build a repeatable framework and playbook for acquisition/divestiture cycles.
