Job summary

Kraft Heinz is seeking a Senior Paralegal, M&A to provide advanced paralegal support across mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and complex strategic transactions. You will manage workflows from diligence through signing, closing, and post-closing integration, coordinating with legal, finance, and cross-functional teams.

The role is hybrid with three days onsite weekly in Chicago and offers a comprehensive benefits package including a competitive base salary and a performance-based bonus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher with excellent academic credentials.
• Paralegal certificate program a plus.
• 5+ years of paralegal experience in a law firm and/or corporate legal department, significant experience supporting M&A, divestitures, strategic investments, corporate restructurings, joint ventures, or other complex transactions strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support attorneys on all phases of M&A and strategic transactions, including acquisitions, divestitures, joint ventures, minority investments, carve-outs, internal restructurings, and post-closing integration matters.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to manage diligence processes, document control, and signing/closing activities.
• Develop and maintain repeatable M&A processes, templates, playbooks, and diligence materials.
• Assist with corporate governance deliverables and related diligence tasks.
• Maintain organized electronic transaction files and ensure compliance with regulatory and internal standards.
