  • Build reporting solutions that account for Workday security model impacts (domain, role-based, and user-based security), ensuring accurate, appropriately scoped data for each audience.
  • Build and manage dashboards and discovery boards to deliver self-service analytics to HR leadership and COE partners.
  • Serve as an escalation point for report defects, performance issues, and complex data interpretation questions, and evaluate new reporting features with each biannual Workday release.
Integrations
  • Design, build, test, deploy, and maintain Workday integrations using EIB, XSLT, Document Transformation, Core Connectors, Cloud Connect, Studio, and Workday Web Services (SOAP/REST APIs).
  • Develop and support inbound and outbound integrations across Workday HCM, Payroll, Benefits, Finance, and various third-party vendors.
  • Partner with Workday analysts and business stakeholders to gather integration requirements and translate them into scalable technical designs.
  • Own the full integration lifecycle, including requirements gathering, functional and technical design, development, UAT, deployment, and post-production support.
  • Design and maintain custom reports that serve as data sources for outbound integrations, including web service-enabled reports (RaaS) consumed by downstream systems and vendors.
  • Develop integration audit, reconciliation, and error reporting to monitor data flows between Workday and connected systems.
  • Partner with the HRIS team on reporting requirements for integrations built on EIBs, Core Connectors, Studio, and Orchestrate, and validate report-based integration outputs during testing cycles and biannual releases.
  • Ensure all integrations comply with data privacy, security, and audit requirements, aligning with organizational and regulatory standards.
Team & Platform Partnership
  • Support Workday bi-annual releases by assessing potential impacts, conducting regression testing, and implementing required updates.
  • Collaborate closely with the HRIS team on configuration changes, integrations, and platform enhancements that affect reporting.
  • Mentor report writers and analysts, and contribute to reporting standards, naming conventions, and best practices.
  • Advise on data quality, governance, and audit readiness, and identify opportunities to extend analytics beyond native Workday via Prism Analytics or Power BI.
Knowledge & Skills
  • Strong technical expertise in Workday integrations (EIB, XSLT, DT, Core Connectors, Studio, SOAP/REST).
  • Experience supporting integrations across Workday HCM and Financials.
  • Ability to gather and translate business requirements into scalable, reliable integration solutions.
  • Proficiency with web services and APIs.
  • Advanced skills in Workday calculated fields and report creation.
  • Strong ability to prioritize work, manage time independently, and follow through on tasks.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Basic project management skills, including scoping work, planning tasks, and communicating progress.
  • This role involves interaction and collaboration with other departments and requires excellent judgment and interpersonal skills.
  • Natural self-starter and creative problem solver with a continuous improvement mindset.
