Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field is preferred.
• 5+ years of government accounting or contracting experience including DFARS and CAS knowledge.
• Experience in auditing or conducting internal reviews of contractor processes.
• High accuracy and attention to detail in reporting and documentation.
• Strong communication skills with ability to present to executive leadership.
• Ability to collaborate with multifunctional groups to improve complex processes.
• Must be a U.S. Person due to access to government information.

Responsibilities

• Develop DFARS contractor business system compliant policies, procedures, desk guides, and processes.
• Conduct internal staff assist visits to review contractor business system processes for policy and DFARS alignment.
• Perform internal reviews of accounting practices ensuring consistency with disclosures and CAS.
• Assist operations in implementing process improvements for compliance and audit readiness.
• Document staff assist visits and maintain results records for leadership briefings and audits.
• Prepare reports on internal document statuses and system compliance for government auditors.
