Reporting to the Director, Financial Planning & Strategy, the Senior Analyst, Commercial FP&A is responsible for supporting the growth of the company’s patient census across an expansive portfolio of Acute and Chronic therapies. The individual will partner with the Commercial and Executive Leadership teams to facilitate financial reporting, forecasting, and budgeting for nationwide revenue, product profit, and Commercial SG&A. They will also support various special projects and strategic initiatives. The ideal candidate for this position will have a strong background in finance and commercial support, an eye for process improvement, excellent analytical and communication skills and will exhibit persistent intellectual curiosity.

Job Description:

Job Responsibilities (listed in order of importance and/or time spent)

  • Partner with Commercial, Operations, Market Access, Trade Relations and Executive leadership teams to support all facets of nationwide commercial planning and reporting including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
  • Analyze monthly performance variances to budget, forecast, and prior year; lead business reviews with Finance and Commercial leadership to summarize variances and develop action plans.
  • Create, maintain and present financial models and ad hoc analyses to improve the understanding of financial performance; provide insights and recommendations based on financial analysis to support decision-making.
  • Collaborate with Commercial leadership to effectively deploy commercial resources and drive productivity opportunities through the enhancement and development of financial planning and analysis processes and models
  • Lead financial planning, reporting, and analysis efforts related to therapy-level product profit generation and maintain the company’s profit by therapy model.

Basic Education and/or Experience Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree and at least 3 years’ experience in an analytical role in finance, accounting, or business Management.
  • At least 3 years’ experience identifying operational issues and recommending and implementing strategies to resolve issues and problems.
  • At least 3 years’ experience in applying analytics principles (Statistics, Mathematics, Operations Research, Business Management, Economics or Finance).
  • At least 2 years’ experience with project management (for example: planning, organizing, and managing resources to bring about the successful completion of specific project goals and objectives).

Basic Qualifications

  • Possess knowledge of project management techniques and experience working in a cross-functional, team-oriented, and collaborative environment with the ability to prioritize work and successfully meet tight deadlines.
  • Demonstrated strong finance and accounting skills, including an aptitude for financial modeling.
  • Self-starter with strong analytical skills and decision-making capabilities. Detail-oriented.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills as well as a high level of personal motivation to achieve.
  • Experience presenting to and interacting with C-level executives of organizations is preferred.
  • Proficient with MS Office Suite including MS Project (Excel, Power point & Word).

Preferred Qualifications & Interests (PQIs)

  • Master’s Degree or MBA

Due to state pay transparency laws, the full range for the position is below:

Salary to be determined by the applicant's education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.

Pay Range is $68,841.68-$114,714.07
