Why do we need you? Well, we are looking for a Senior Analytics Operation Analyst who will uplevel our Analytics practice with technical data collection and curation knowledge, Product Analytics tooling expertise, and excellent communication and collaboration skills. You will report to the Engineering Manager, Analytics Engineering and will be the analytics catalyst behind data driven, analytics oriented decision-making at Calendly.

A day in the life of a Senior Analytics Operation Analyst at Calendly

On a typical day, you will be working on:

  • Collaborating with stakeholders and analysts across Calendly to ensure Analytics solutions are scalable, repeatable, effective, and meet expectations of various stakeholders
  • Owning, governing, and democratizing Calendly’s event tracking implementation; working with engineering teams to carry out a tracking strategy that leverages a standardized schema you develop and maintain
  • Owning, managing, and governing use of Calendly data through creation and/or maintenance of standard roll up tables in partnership with Data Platform Team
  • Owning and facilitating self-service analytics tool implementation and use across all departments at Calendly
  • Defining clear business requirements that can be translated into a technical design
  • Providing support via different async communication channels on subjects related to Calendly data

What do we need from you?

  • A Bachelor’s degree or higher with background in Math, Economics, Computer Science, Statistics, or other quantitative fields
  • Expertise with modern data stacks (dbt, Segment, BigQuery, etc), and data visualization and analytics tools (Tableau, Hex, Amplitude, etc.)
  • 8+ years relevant experience in Data Science, Data or Analytics Engineering, or other relevant field, coupled with product management experience a plus
  • Demonstrated experience managing cross-functional stakeholders and delivering analytics needs
  • Advanced SQL skills
  • Technical knowledge and experience around data collection and effective schema development for event based tracking solutions (IE Segment, Google Analytics)
  • Familiar with data governance concepts and have been involved in data governance roll-outs in the past
  • Great interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder management skills
  • Authorized to work lawfully in the United States of America as Calendly does not engage in immigration sponsorship at this time

The ranges listed below are the expected annual base salary for this role, subject to change.

Calendly takes a number of factors into consideration when determining an employee’s starting salary, including relevant experience, relevant skills sets, interview performance, location/metropolitan area, and internal pay equity.

Base salary is just one component of Calendly’s total rewards package. All full-time (30 hours/week) employees are also eligible for our Quarterly Corporate Bonus program (or Sales incentive), equity awards, and competitive benefits.

Calendly uses the zip code of an employee’s remote work location, or the onsite building location if hybrid, to determine which metropolitan pay range we use. Current geographic zones are as follows:

  • Tier 1: San Francisco, CA, San Jose, CA, New York City, NY
  • Tier 2: Chicago, IL, Austin, TX, Denver, CO, Boston, MA, Washington D.C., Philadelphia, PA, Portland, OR, Seattle, WA, Miami, FL, and all other cities in CA.
  • Tier 3: All other locations not in Tier 1 or Tier 2
Tier 1 Salary $173,400 — $234,600 USD Tier 2 Salary $158,950 — $215,050 USD Tier 3 Salary $144,500 — $195,500 USD
