Job summary

Broadcom is seeking an Analog/RF Layout Engineer in Irvine, CA to translate schematics into physical layouts for advanced IP blocks. You will own full-cycle layout from floorplanning to tape-out, collaborating with senior designers on floorplanning, power architecture, and device matching.

The role requires mastery of high-speed analog/digital layouts on FinFET nodes, Cadence Virtuoso, and Mentor Calibre, with 8+ years (BS) or 6+ years (MS) in the field.

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical Engineering with 8+ years of related experience OR MS with 6+ years of related experience.
• Extensive experience with layout of high-speed analog/digital circuits (TX/RX/SerDes/PLLs).
• Proficiency with Cadence Virtuoso and Calibre verification for high-speed circuits.

Responsibilities

• Bridge schematics to DRC/LVS-clean layouts for IP blocks.
• Collaborate with senior designers on floorplanning and power/ground architecture.
• Master routing of critical nets and achieve precise device matching.
