Job summary

RTX is seeking an experienced Hardware Electrical Engineer to join our Hardware Electrical Engineering Organization. You will design, test, and support advanced electrical subsystems used in extreme battlefield environments, spanning analog electronics, power conversion, and control systems.

This role requires collaboration with systems, mechanical, software, and reliability engineers to meet strict program milestones.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related STEM field.
Experience or coursework in Analog Electronics, Power Electronics, Power Systems, or Control Systems.
Experience simulating electrical circuits or engineering systems using PSPICE, LTspice, MATLAB/Simulink, or equivalent.
Experience communicating technical concepts through engineering documentation or presentations.

Responsibilities

Design, analyze, simulate, and document analog circuitry and power sub-systems.
Develop precision control systems including servo loops and motor drives.
Architect flight termination/telemetry systems with data acquisition and RF transmitters.
Model power system dynamics and EMI using PSPICE/LTspice/MATLAB/Simulink.
Support hardware integration, testing, and production activities.
Collaborate with systems, mechanical, software, and reliability engineers to meet specs.
Prepare design reviews, test procedures, and trade study reports.
