Job summary

TetraMem is seeking an experienced analog/mixed-signal IC designer to join a fast-paced startup in California. You will design high-performance analog ICs, including amplifiers and data converters, and work across the full design cycle from concept to tape-out.

You will collaborate with digital designers and layout engineers to ensure seamless integration, while mentoring junior engineers and driving process improvements.

Qualifications

• MS or PhD in Electrical Engineering with emphasis on CMOS analog/mixed-signal IC design.
• 10+ years of analog or mixed-signal IC development in advanced CMOS processes with tape-out experience.
• Strong knowledge of analog/mixed-signal circuits such as OpAmps, bandgap, voltage/current references.
• Familiar with EDA tools and design methodologies including layout, verification, and test.
• Deep knowledge of mismatch, linearity, stability, low-power and low-noise techniques.
• Hands-on experience from definition to high-volume production including layout supervision.

Responsibilities

• Design and development of high-performance analog ICs (amplifiers, data converters, regulators).
• Conduct detailed design simulations, verification, and validation against specs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for seamless analog/digital integration.
• Drive innovation with advanced design techniques and emerging technologies.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to design process improvements.
• Participate in design reviews and document methodologies and results.
• Support testing, characterization, and debugging of analog ICs with test teams.
• Create comprehensive design specifications and technical documentation.
