Job summary

EY Consulting seeks an Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) Program Management Senior Manager to lead large-scale AMI transformations for Power & Utilities clients in the United States. You will shape programs, govern delivery and guide multi-workstream teams across PMO, organizational change, field deployment and benefits realization.

Location: West coast preferred; anywhere in the US considered. This role is not eligible for visa sponsorship now or in the future, and travel expectations are

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Information Systems, Business or a related field.
• Approximately 10+ years of direct AMI program management experience.
• Experience leading at least one large-scale North American AMI deployment across planning, mobilization, delivery.
• Professional services or consulting experience delivering client engagements under formal commercial constructs.
• Approximately three+ years of consulting experience, including client service delivery and stakeholder management.
• Experience leveraging AI-enabled tools and emerging technologies to enhance productivity and client delivery.
• Experience leading multi-vendor program delivery with milestone-based fees and change control.
• Experience engaging senior utility client stakeholders and operating within complex governance environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead AMI program management pursuits, including client strategy, solution development, pricing, proposals, orals and approvals.
• Build trusted relationships with senior utility stakeholders and represent the practice in governance forums and pursuit discussions.
• Guide AMI program delivery across planning, mobilization, delivery and operationalization.
• Stand up and operate integrated PMOs, including governance and executive reporting.
• Manage large, multi-workstream teams and fixed-fee engagement economics.
• Develop AMI delivery methods and reusable assets while coaching workstream leads.
