Job summary

EY Consulting is seeking an Advanced Metering Infrastructure Program Management Senior Manager to lead AMI deployments for Power & Utilities clients across North America. You will shape opportunities, guide multi-workstream PMO, organizational change management, field deployment and benefits realization.

You will manage large, multi-vendor programs, maintain governance, and drive delivery excellence while traveling 65-80% and collaborating with senior utility stakeholders in a fast-paced

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, information systems, business or related field.
• Approximately 10+ years of direct AMI program management experience.
• Experience leading large North American AMI deployments across planning, mobilization, delivery.
• Consulting or professional services delivery under formal commercial constructs.
• Approx. 3+ years of consulting experience, including client-ready deliverables.
• Experience leveraging AI-enabled tools to enhance delivery and analysis.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain momentum in dynamic environments.
• Strong executive communication and problem-solving skills for EY leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead AMI program management pursuits and delivery engagements with a focus on quality and outcomes.
• Build trusted relationships with senior utility stakeholders and represent the practice in forums.
• Guide AMI program delivery across planning, mobilization, and field deployment.
• Stand up and operate integrated PMOs with governance, RAID, and vendor coordination.
• Manage multi-workstream teams and fixed-fee engagement economics, including change orders.
• Develop AMI delivery methods and reusable assets while coaching leads.
