Job summary
EY Consulting is seeking an Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) Program Management Senior Manager to lead large-scale transformations for Power & Utilities clients across North America. The role spans pursuit and delivery, shaping opportunities and guiding multi-workstream teams, including PMO, organizational change, field deployment, and benefits realization.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Information Systems, Business or a related field
- Approximately 10+ years of direct AMI program management experience
- Experience leading large North American AMI deployments across planning, mobilization, delivery and operationalization
- Professional services or consulting experience delivering client engagements under formal commercial constructs
- Approximately three+ years of consulting experience including client service delivery and stakeholder mgmt
- Experience leveraging AI-enabled tools and emerging technologies to enhance delivery
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver momentum in dynamic environments
- Strong executive communication, presentation, and analytical skills
- Experience leading multi-vendor program delivery with milestone-based fees and change control
- Business development contribution in AMI or similar utility programs
- Experience engaging senior utility client stakeholders in complex governance environments
- Experience leading large, multi-workstream teams including onshore/offshore
- Willingness to travel 65–80%
Responsibilities
- Lead AMI program management pursuits with client strategy, solution development, pricing and proposals
- Build trusted relationships with senior utility stakeholders and governance forums
- Guide AMI program delivery across planning, mobilization, requirements, and deployment
- Stand up and operate integrated PMOs with governance, RAID and change control
- Manage large, multi-workstream teams and fixed-fee engagement economics
- Develop AMI delivery methods and reusable assets while mentoring leads
