Job summary

RTX's Air Launched Effector Guidance Systems (ALEGS) Department in Tucson, AZ, is seeking a Section Leader to oversee 15–20 engineers and drive program execution across cost, schedule and technical performance. This onsite role requires a STEM degree with 8+ years of experience, proven leadership, and the ability to secure a DoD Secret clearance.

RTX offers relocation eligibility, a 9/80 schedule, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or STEM field with 8+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience in RF/Digital/Analog power subsystem development, analysis, or testing.
• Proven leadership of a technical team (IPTL/Engineering Lead).
• Direct or dotted-line personnel leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee direct line management for 15–20 engineers.
• Lead hiring, performance feedback, and career development.
• Ensure policy compliance and administer timecards.
• Collaborate across programs and functions to align staffing.
• Provide technical leadership as required.
