RTX is hiring an ALEGS Section Leader in Tucson to oversee a team of 15–20 engineers, driving staffing, performance, and development across RF/digital/analog power subsystems. The role combines technical leadership with hands-on program execution in a high-stakes environment.

The ideal candidate will have a strong engineering background, 8+ years of relevant experience, and proven ability to manage personnel and projects while aligning with RTX values.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, Physics, Mathematics, or related STEM field.
• 8+ years of relevant experience in RF/digital/analog power subsystems.
• Experience leading a technical team (task leader/IPTL/Engineering Lead).
• Direct or dotted-line leadership of personnel.

Responsabilités

• Oversee direct line management activities, including communication, performance management, career development, and talent acquisition.
• Guide a section of 15 to 20 ALEGS engineers.
• Support performance reviews and development for section members.
• Manage hiring: resumes, interviews, onboarding.
• Ensure policy compliance and address personnel issues.
• Manage administrative activities such as timecards.
• Promote cross-functional collaboration to drive program execution.
• Lead or contribute as a technical lead or IPTL, dedicating 15–20% of time to Section Leader duties.
• Collaborate with program and functional leadership to align goals.
• Drive department-wide initiatives and RTX values.
