CVS Health is seeking a Senior Security Engineer to design, implement, and optimize edge security for web applications and APIs. You will manage Akamai WAF and Bot protection, Imperva integration, and edge security controls across enterprise services.

You will collaborate with application, cloud, network, and security teams, participate in on-call rotations, and continuously improve security tooling, CI/CD integration, and incident response processes.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in enterprise web application, API, or edge security.
• 3+ years hands-on with Akamai or comparable enterprise WAF platforms.
• 3+ years working knowledge: WAF, Bot management, DDoS mitigation, Web/API security, DNS, SSL/TLS, OWASP Top 10, Linux environments.
• 2+ years analyzing security telemetry and incident response.

• Administer and optimize Akamai security technologies (WAF, Bot Manager, DDoS protections).
• Design and maintain security controls for web apps and APIs.
• Monitor security telemetry and respond to incidents and threats.
