Qualifications

• 5+ years in enterprise web app, API, or edge security.
• 3+ years with Akamai security technologies or comparable WAF platforms.
• 3+ years in WAF, bot management, DDoS mitigation, Web/API security, DNS, SSL/TLS.
• 2+ years of analyzing telemetry and mitigating threats.

Responsibilities

• Administer and optimize Akamai security technologies (WAF, Bot Manager, DDoS, etc.).
• Configure and tune WAF protections, bot controls, and API protections.
• Investigate and mitigate DDoS attacks and credential stuffing.
• Monitor security telemetry and respond to incidents.
• Collaborate with teams to integrate security controls into CI/CD.
