Elite Line Services (ELS) in Windsor Locks, CT is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform maintenance and repair of baggage handling systems and passenger boarding bridges. You will mentor and guide junior team members in the absence of Sr. Technicians.

You will read repair manuals and schematics, work in confined spaces with PPE, and ensure safety training and compliance with ELS policies.

Qualifikationen

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum 2 years of mechanical or electrical experience.
• Ability to work a non-traditional schedule including weekends and holidays.
• Preferred: airport environment experience.
• Prior experience with conveyors and/or passenger boarding bridges.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics and engineering drawings.
• HVAC, welding/brazing, and/or plumbing knowledge.
• Minimum 2 years of basic electrical and/or electronic systems work experience.
• 3+ years industrial mechanical and/or electrical background.
• 1 year PLC logic and/or Industrial HVAC certification.
• Advanced computer skills.

Aufgaben

• Completes basic maintenance assignments including preventive, routine and emergency maintenance, clearing system jams, inspections, and adjustments.
• Diagnoses equipment failures under supervision; ensures equipment runs safely.
• Provides guidance and mentoring to junior staff and may lead in absence of Sr. Technicians or supervisors.
• Reads and interprets repair manuals, schematics, and supervisor instructions.
• Reads and follows safety procedures and uses PPE and fall protection when required.
• Completes forms and records related to work assignments in a timely manner.
• Performs additional duties as assigned by management.
• Supports safety training and ensures compliance with company policies.
