Job summary

The City of Chandler is seeking an experienced Airport Maintenance Senior Technician - CDL to join the CHD team. The role focuses on skilled maintenance and repair of airport grounds and equipment, with a regular schedule Wednesday through Saturday, 5:00am to 3:30pm.

Applicants should bring a CDL Class B with tanker endorsement, relevant certifications, and a commitment to safety and customer service. The position includes full-time benefits and retirement plan participation.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED.
3 years' grounds and facilities maintenance/operations experience.
Valid driver's license with clean record.
CDL Class B with tanker endorsement within 6 months of hire.
Maricopa County Dust Control Certification within 6 months.
Underground Storage Tank Operator Certification within 6 months.
40-hour HAZWOPER Certification within 6 months.
Office of Pest Management License within 6 months or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

Perform skilled preventative maintenance and repair of airport grounds and equipment.
Adhere to safety and DOT regulations.
Assist with inspections and routine airport operations.
