Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Five or more years in grounds or landscaping maintenance.
• AMA Certification must be obtained within 6 months and maintained annually.

Responsibilities

• Perform and lead advanced grounds maintenance activities including mowing, edging, trimming, debris removal and pressure washing.
• Conduct routine inspections of grounds, roadways, sidewalks and parking areas to identify safety hazards.
• Coordinate inspections and maintenance of grounds vehicles, trailers and equipment per safety standards.
• Support special grounds projects like surface sealing, weatherproofing and landscaping tasks.
• Provide grounds support during airport emergencies and weather-related events.
• Operate heavy equipment (mowers, sweepers, tractors, loaders) and maintain records of maintenance work.
