Job summary

The City of Charlotte is seeking a Senior Engineering Project Manager to lead complex airport projects at Charlotte Douglas International Airport. You will manage planning, design, procurement, and construction across airside, landside, and terminal scopes, coordinating with consultants, contractors, and public agencies.

Responsibilities include budgeting, scheduling, reporting, risk management, change orders, and ensuring compliance with FAA and local regulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering with five years of experience in civil/municipal capital projects.
• Progressive responsibility in civil engineering, facility management, or construction management.
• PE licensure is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage planning, design, and/or construction of complex airport projects.
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors and authorities; manage budgets, schedules, and reports.
• Prepare and review feasibility studies, designs, costs, and bid packages.
