Job summary

Gulfstream Aerospace Corporation in Savannah, GA is seeking a Senior Aircraft Component Repair Technician for the second shift. You will lead repair/overhaul of internal and external aircraft assemblies and subassemblies following Repair Station requirements.

You will use 2D drawings and CAD tools, read engineering documents, and perform complex repairs on mech and electrical systems, including testing and verification for return to service.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• A&P license, FCC license, or NCATT cert preferred.
• Able to read and interpret blueprints, eng docs, CMP data, CBs and ASCs.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and technical guidance while repairing and overhauling aircraft assemblies and components per FAA Repair Station requirements.
• Repair mech and electric assemblies, perform removals, repair or replacement of parts, and fabricate replacements per blueprints and manuals.
• Set up and operate test equipment for functional and operational testing of aircraft components.
• Inspect parts against blueprints and manuals to ensure conformance and quality.
• Assist with training of Aircraft Component Repair Technicians.
