Job summary

Sierra Nevada Corporation (SNC) is seeking an Aircraft Records Clerk IV to manage and optimize the organization’s records system. This senior role handles complex documentation, ensures regulatory compliance, and oversees training for the records team.

The ISR, Aviation & Security business area is a leader in aviation systems integration, providing end-to-end C4ISR capabilities and complete logistics support. This position supports multiple SNC sites and may require travel.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Higher level relevant degree may substitute for experience.
• Proven expertise in aircraft maintenance documentation and regulatory requirements.
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft word processing programs.
• Progressive experience scanning paper records into electronic records.
• Advanced experience with computer systems and aircraft maintenance tracking software.
• Knowledge of time compliance items, airworthiness directives, and service bulletins.
• Able to travel outside the continental US.

Responsibilities

• Manage and optimize aircraft records management systems.
• Resolve complex documentation and compliance issues.
• Ensure comprehensive compliance with all regulatory and internal standards.
• Oversee the training and development of records management personnel.
• Lead cross-functional projects to improve documentation processes.
