Job summary

West Star Aviation Inc. is seeking a Lead Maintenance Inspector in Millville, NJ to oversee QC tasks and ensure compliance with FAA regulations and the WS A Repair Station Manual.

You will manage technician sign-offs, perform front-line checks, and release aircraft after final walk-around with attention to disturbed areas. The role requires an A&P license or Repairman certification and a strong background in aircraft maintenance, with English communication and strict adherence to procedures.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in maintenance, preventive maintenance, or alterations.
• Proficient with inspection equipment and visual inspection aids.

Responsibilities

• Review technician assignments and sign offs for adherence.
• Perform frontline spot checks of maintenance activity per AMM/RSQCM/GMM.
• Verify MEL procedures and RSQCM compliance.
• Release aircraft after final walk-around noting disturbed areas.
• Ensure current technical data is used and proper tagging of parts.
• Coordinate with maintenance teams to follow policies and procedures.
• Reject non-compliant work and hold RTS if quality risks are found.
