Job summary

Amentum is seeking an experienced aircraft maintenance technician to support HQ USAF operations, ensuring safe air transportation for Cabinet Members, senior leaders, and visiting dignitaries.

The role covers scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, troubleshooting of complex systems, inspections, and coordination with aircrew. A valid FAA/military certification and readiness to work varied shifts are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• FAA Airframe & Powerplant certification or military training preferred.
• 1+ year recent maintenance on H-60 or S-70 or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Support HQ USAF operations and safe air transport for dignitaries.
• Perform scheduled/unscheduled aircraft maintenance and repairs.
• Inspect aircraft and assist aircrew in preflight and post-flight preparations.
• Operate ground support equipment and maintain MIS entries.
• Work day, swing, night, or weekend shifts as required.
