Job summary

Amentum seeks a rotary-wing aircraft mechanic to support highly sensitive HQ USAF operations and safe air transportation for Cabinet Members and dignitaries. You will perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on H-60/S-70 aircraft, inspect systems, and assist aircrew in flight prep.

The role requires FAA/Military credentials, ability to read schematics, and willingness to obtain security clearance. Expect shifts including days, nights, or weekends, with comprehensive safety responsibilities.

Qualifications

• FAA Airframe and Powerplant certification or equivalent military training with 1+ year experience.
• Experience on H-60 or S-70 helicopters preferred.
• Knowledge of aircraft hand tools, test equipment, and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled and unscheduled aircraft maintenance and repairs on rotary-wing aircraft.
• Inspect aircraft and components, including preflight and post-flight checks; ensure MEL compliance.
• Maintain MIS records and assist aircrew in flight preparations; operate ground support equipment.
