Job summary

Amentum is seeking a rotary-wing aircraft mechanic to support HQ USAF operational plans and safe air transport for Cabinet Members and visiting dignitaries. You will perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on H-60/S-70 aircraft, repair and modify structures, and ensure flight readiness.

Responsibilities include inspections from preflight to phase, troubleshooting, wiring and systems work, and MIS recordkeeping.

Qualifications

• At least one year of recent aircraft maintenance on H-60 or S-70.
• FAA Airframe and Power Plant certification or FCC license.
• U.S. military aviation maintenance training with at least one year of recent experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on rotary-wing aircraft.
• Inspect preflight, thru-flight, post-flight, and phase inspections.
• Repair/modify aircraft structures and components; troubleshoot electrical systems.
• Annotate actions in maintenance records and MIS entries.
• Operate ground support equipment and manage aircraft movement.
