Job summary

Amentum is seeking a rotary-wing aircraft maintenance technician to support HQ USAF operational plans and high-security air transport. You will perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on H-60/S-70 platforms, repair structures, components, and systems, and inspect through preflight to phase checks.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• FAA Airframe and Powerplant certification or military maintenance training required.
• 1+ year of recent aircraft maintenance on H-60/S-70 or equivalent required.
• Ability to read schematics and comprehend technical publications.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on rotary-wing aircraft.
• Repair and modify aircraft structures and components.
• Maintain and repair components including flight controls, engines, hydraulics, pneumatics, fuel systems and mechanical systems.
• Annotate maintenance actions in MIS and keep accurate records.
