Amentum seeks an Aircraft Mechanic 3 to support NAS Whidbey Island maintenance operations. You will inspect, repair, and modify EA-18G aircraft and subsystems, supervise jacking/towing, and certify logbook entries. Strong troubleshooting and F/A-18 experience are required.

Applicant must have seven years of actual, recent aircraft experience and three years of F/A-18 experience. A Secret clearance and ability to travel are preferred.

Formación

• US Citizenship is required for facility credentials at this work location.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Must have completed military aviation maintenance training or maintenance technical school curriculum.
• Seven years actual and recent aircraft experience.
• Three years F/A-18 experience (F/A-18E/F/EA-18G QAR/CDQAR) with maintenance supervisory experience.
• Ability to troubleshoot aircraft systems and perform organizational level maintenance.

Responsabilidades

• Troubleshoot malfunctions in aircraft structure, systems, and ALSS.
• Repair or replace structures and components using tools and testing equipment.
• Read manuals and data to determine repair methods and maintain records.
• Perform hourly, phase, and calendar inspections and certify logs.
• Supervise jacking, towing, and line maintenance activities.
• Direct cannibalization actions to meet maintenance schedules.
