Job summary

Amentum in NAS Lemoore is seeking an Aircraft Mechanic III / Maintenance Control to service and overhaul F/A-18 airframes, perform SFF qualification, and ensure airworthiness in accordance with manuals and directives.

You will troubleshoot, inspect, and repair structural and hydraulic systems, prioritize workload, work shift as required, and maintain safety and quality standards while holding a Tier 3 clearance.

Qualifications

• Must be Safe-For-Flight qualified with FAA/DoD procedures.
• Experience on FA/EA-18 aircraft systems preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret maintenance publications.
• Must complete SFF qualification within 30 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and service F/A-18 aircraft systems and components.
• Troubleshoot, remove, replace, and repair structural/hydraulic systems.
• Prioritize workload to meet maintenance schedules and quality standards.
• Operate and be certified on required ground support and calibration equipment.
