Job summary

Amentum is seeking an Aircraft Worker to support U.S. Naval Air Station maintenance operations at NAS Whidbey Island. You will follow orders from higher-grade workers to repair, adjust, and service aircraft on the line.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, three years of related experience or an A&P license, ability to obtain security clearance and U.S. citizenship, and travel as needed.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Make repairs to aircraft following orders of higher-grade workers.
• Perform adjustments and settings such as cable tension and seat movement.
• Service engines and other aircraft components at the line station.
• Support daily flight operations with pre-flight checks, start-up, and launch.
• Perform inspections per MRC and NAVAIR manuals.
• Check aircraft for tools and foreign objects.
• Carry out pre- and post-operational checks, fueling, and operation of support equipment.
