Job summary

Amentum is seeking an Aircraft Maintenance Supervisor to lead the organizational level maintenance on assigned aircraft under contract in Pensacola, FL. The role ensures aircraft readiness, coordinates maintenance actions, and maintains compliance with applicable directives and safety standards.

The supervisor will direct daily work, monitor SCIRs, and collaborate with aircrew and QA to uphold flight schedules and depot actions as required.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent required.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in aircraft maintenance.
• Supervisory experience preferred.
• Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) license preferred.
• Knowledge of CNAFINST 4790.2 Series.
• Familiar with basic supply procedures.
• Minimum one year in maintenance/production control position.
• Experience writing with clarity and technical accuracy.
• Must obtain Government CAC.
• Must be able to obtain/maintain required qualifications/certifications.
• Must have U.S. driver's license.
• Must be able to work all shifts and schedules.

Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day organizational level maintenance on assigned aircraft.
• Coordinate and monitor maintenance/material actions to keep aircraft serviceable.
• Ensure compliance with safety, standards, and directives.
• Provide leadership and instruction to lower-level staff.
• Review Flight-related documentation and prepare for FCF as needed.
• Coordinate with government QA and configure aircraft per requirements.
