Job summary

Royal Aircraft Services, LLC is seeking a Manager of Maintenance to supervise hangar and line technicians, parts personnel, and contract maintenance staff. You will coordinate maintenance activities with multiple teams, ensuring compliance with FAA regulations and company standards.

You will lead scheduling, oversee the induction process, and ensure all work is inspected and properly documented for release.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
• FAA A&P certificate required; must meet 14 CFR 65.83.
• Minimum five years maintenance experience in Part 121/135/145.
• Minimum five years budgetary experience overseeing assets, personnel, equipment and facilities.
• Minimum three years accountable manager-type experience with OpSpecs authority.
• Strong knowledge of FAA regulations under 14 CFR Parts 43, 65, 91, 121, 135, and 145.
• Willing to work nights/weekends with flexible travel schedule; strong leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with FAA Certificate Management Office and maintain good relations with the FAA.
• Lead and direct maintenance procedures and staff according to policies and regulations.
• Coordinate aircraft induction and shop schedules to maximize productivity cost-effectively.
• Guide maintenance personnel in diagnosing and repairing aircraft discrepancies per data and safety rules.
• Ensure all work is inspected and records are properly completed and released.
• Ensure compliance with FAR 145 and related regulatory requirements.
• Complete vendor audits and ensure each work package is regulatory compliant.
• Serve as client liaison for quotes and updates throughout inspections.
• Oversee maintenance facilities, equipment, inventory, and safety standards.
